We hit and killed a dementia patient in his 80s in the same room...six years in prison in one's 60s

The Daegu District Court sentenced 66-year-old A to six years in prison for beating and killing a dementia patient in his 80s in the same hospital room.

The court said that A has been acting as a so-called military leader in the hospital room, threatening victims and other patients, and that severe punishment is inevitable as there is no circumstantial evidence that he has tried to recover the damage.

In September last year, A was put on trial for assaulting and killing a dementia patient in his 80s who used the same hospital room as a nursing hospital in Pohang, North Gyeongsang Province.
