The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport announced today (18th) that it will extend the runway closure period to 5 a.m. on April 18 to follow up with the Jeju Air passenger accident.
In this regard, the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport plans to expedite measures necessary for safe and normal airport operation, although the timing of the airport's resumption is flexible.
Earlier, the runway was temporarily closed until the morning of the 1st immediately after the accident on the 29th of last month, and was extended three times until tomorrow morning (19th).
