Foreign media also reported in detail the arrest of President Yoon Suk Yeol and the invasion of the court by protesters?

[Reporter]
Yes, it is.

Reuters broke the news that President Yoon's detention period has been extended, and also introduced the past when he was deeply involved in the investigation of former President Park Geun Hye while serving as a prosecutor.

CNN said, "It is unclear whether President Yoon will cooperate with the investigation during the extension of his arrest."

Japan's Kyodo News reported that President Yoon's arrest is the first case of an incumbent national leader's arrest in Korea.

China's state-run Xinhua News Agency also reported in breaking news that Yoon's detention period will be extended to up to 20 days, including the arrest period.

The Associated Press said, "Since President Yoon's declaration of martial law, Korea has faced the most serious political crisis since democratization in the late 1980s."

"The issuance of an arrest warrant could mean the beginning of a long-term detention period in which Yoon Suk Yeol's president is detained for months," he said.

Meanwhile, Hong Kong's South China Morning Post also detailed the news that President Yoon's supporters stormed the Seoul Western District Court on the news of the decision to extend the arrest.
