The Senior Civil Servant Corruption Investigations Unit, which arrested President Yoon Suk Yeol, immediately demanded a face-to-face investigation from President Yoon.

On the day of the issuance of the arrest warrant, he was notified to attend by 2 p.m. for investigation.

However, President Yoon said it was difficult to attend and expressed his position that there was nothing more to say at the Senior Civil Servant Corruption Investigations Unit.

After meeting with President Yoon, the lawyers decided not to comply with the investigation and conveyed this intention to the Senior Civil Servant Corruption Investigations Unit.

When the first investigation attempt failed after the arrest, the Senior Civil Servant Corruption Investigations Unit again notified President Yoon to attend by 10 a.m. tomorrow (20th).

However, President Yoon has already expressed his intention to refuse to comply with the investigation into the Senior Civil Servant Corruption Investigations Unit.

In response, the Senior Civil Servant Corruption Investigations Unit is actively considering bringing President Yoon back from the detention center and investigating him.

In 2013, the Supreme Court decided that if a suspect detained for issuing an arrest warrant refuses to attend, he can be recruited to the investigation room.
