The Daejeon Jungbu Police Station handed over three people, including a teenager A, to the prosecution without detention on charges of trying to steal cash using a blunt instrument from an unmanned store.

A middle school student and others are accused of trying to steal cash by breaking a lock on an unmanned terminal with a hammer they had taken from an unmanned store in Jung-gu, Daejeon, at around 1 a.m. on the 9th of last month.

When the owner saw the crime on the surveillance camera and warned them, they ran away, and the police who were dispatched after receiving the report caught them nearby.

They reportedly told the police that they committed the crime because they needed money, and they planned the crime in advance, such as buying a hammer in advance and sharing roles.
