The People's Power continued its offensive, saying that the revision of the Insurrection Special Prosecutor Act, which was enforced by the Democratic Party on the 17th, is a political scheme to make Lee Jae-myung the president.

Although he pretended to accept the ruling party's demand, he left open the possibility of an investigation, left the rules for press briefings to the public, and left all weapons to eliminate Lee's political opponent in the early presidential election.

The Democratic Party of Korea has accepted the ruling party's demand and excluded the charges of propaganda and instigation of foreign exchange and civil war from the investigation, claiming that the amendment is in fact a special investigation law of the ruling and opposition parties.

Some analysts say that if acting Choi exercises his veto, he will have to re-vote the National Assembly.
