In the second half of this year, the Korean launch vehicle Nuri will attempt its fourth launch led by a private company.

Along with the next-generation medium-sized satellite 3, multipurpose satellites 6 and 7 will also be launched in the second half of this year.

In its work plan announcement this year, the space agency said the fourth launch of the Nuri will lay the groundwork for private-led space transport and secure reusable projectiles to achieve its goal of drastically reducing launch costs by the mid-2030s.

In addition, it plans to promote the development of Chollian 5 and low-orbit satellite communication technology along with the launch of three satellites scheduled this year, produce and distribute satellite development manuals for private companies, and present a roadmap for satellite development for verification of space devices and parts.

In addition, the world's first extensive space observation, SPHEREx, which enables the creation of a three-dimensional space map, will be jointly developed and demonstrated with NASA, and space exploration, including the world's first L4 point solar space observation project, will be systematically planned.

The space agency said it will hold the first Aerospace Day on May 27 to help spread the aerospace culture.
