According to the November population trend released by Statistics Korea, the number of births in November last year was 20,95, up 14.6% from a year ago.
The growth rate is the highest in 14 years since it hit 17.5% in November 2010.
The increase in births was 2,565, the largest in 14 years since November 2010.
The number of births has exceeded 20,000 for five months since surpassing 20,000 in July.
Marriage rose 11.3% to 18,581 in November, and the number of marriages was the highest in nine years since November 2015.
The number of deaths in the same month was 29,219, with 9,124 natural declines excluding deaths from births.
