Ulsan City appointed Lee Sang-bong, former vice president of the Ulsan Sales Headquarters of Gyeongnam Bank, as a special advisor for fiscal policy and Ahn Jong-joon, former head of the medical department at Ulsan University Hospital, as a special advisor for medical policy.

The two aides have a two-year term until January 2027, which is responsible for directing major municipal issues and communicating citizens' opinions.

With two additional aides appointed this time, Ulsan City's special policy advisory has increased from nine to 11.

Mayor Kim Doo-kyum said, "We are looking forward to active policy suggestions on current issues," adding, "We plan to actively discover areas that need policy assistance to serve as a driving force for the development of Ulsan City."
