Found dead in the hills after wielding a weapon against his ex-wife

Police have launched an investigation after a suspect in his 40s who wielded a weapon against his ex-wife was found dead in a hill.

At around 12:50 p.m. today (22nd), a woman in her 40s was seriously injured after being stabbed on the street in Toseong-myeon, Goseong-gun, Gangwon-do, and was taken to a large hospital by helicopter for treatment.

The police identified her ex-husband B in his 40s as a suspect and tracked him down, but B was found dead in a nearby hill at around 2:40 p.m., two hours after the incident.
