It was found that more than 60 fire and emergency activities were carried out in connection with the "2024 Seoul World Fireworks Festival" held in Yeouido yesterday.
From 1 p.m. to 11 p.m. yesterday (5th), the fire authorities dispatched 335 personnel and 50 equipment to the Yeouido Hangang Park and Ichon district to conduct a total of 63 emergency activities.
Five people complaining of abdominal pain and headache were taken to a nearby hospital, and 57 people were treated on the spot for minor abrasions and dizziness.
At around 8:05 p.m., the launch pad that fired fireworks caught fire, but it did not spread to the surroundings and was extinguished, causing no damage.
Yesterday (5th), more than 1 million people gathered around the Han River to enjoy the festival, according to the organizer's estimate.
