Seoul Mayor Oh Se-hoon met with 19 athletes from the Seoul Metropolitan Government who participated in the 2024 Paris Paralympics and showed their hard work and gratitude.
Mayor Oh said, "I appreciate the opportunity to meet the athletes at Seoul City Hall and reflect on their dreams, hopes, and the meaning of their efforts," adding, "I hope they will bear the fruits of their valuable efforts at the National Sports Festival for the Disabled, which will be held next week."
177 South Korean athletes participated in the 2024 Paris Paralympics, winning 30 medals, including 6 gold medals, 10 silver medals, and 14 bronze medals, and 22 athletes from Seoul City Hall and Seoul Metropolitan Government won 6 medals, including 1 gold medal in men's singles table tennis.
