Our reporters have been here since about 2 p.m. today after North Korea blew up the Gyeongui and East Sea lines connecting the South and the North.

The North Korean area, which is far from the observatory, is quiet without any special movement.

The South Korean military said it fired back at the area south of the Military Demarcation Line after North Korea blew up the road, where you could hear the sound of gunfire from time to time.

As North Korea strengthens inter-Korean disconnection measures, anxiety among residents in the border area has not subsided.
