September auto exports $5.5 billion..."The Biggest" in September.

Last month, automobile exports reached an all-time high as of September.

The Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy said auto exports amounted to $5.5 billion last month, up 4.9% from September last year.

This year, cumulative exports until last month were $52.9 billion, also the largest ever in the same period.

The increase in exports in September was driven by an increase in exports of eco-friendly cars such as hybrid cars.

Exports of eco-friendly cars turned upward for the first time in four months, up 12.3% from last year to $2 billion.
