Mayor Oh inspected homes and amenities scheduled to move in at Olympic Park Foreon, a former Dunchon Jugong apartment, and met with newlyweds who won "My House in advance" to listen to suggestions related to housing costs, childbirth and parenting.
'My House in advance' is Seoul's housing policy to overcome low birth rates, providing long-term lease on a deposit basis housing at a lower price than the market price, and providing various incentives such as extending the period of residence when having children and providing opportunities to buy one's own house.
Olympic Park Foreon's "My House in advance" attracted 17,900 people to recruit 300 tenants, recording an average competition rate of 60 to 1.
