149 defaulters of child support debt have been decided to be subject to sanctions such as a ban on departure, blocking a driver's license, and disclosure of a list.

Today (21st), the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family held the 38th Child Care Performance Review Committee and made the announcement. By type of sanctions, there are 115 cases of departure ban, 58 cases of driver's license suspension, and four cases of list disclosure.

Among them, the largest amount of child support debt reached 274 million won. The average child support debt is about 58 million won.

A total of 1,814 people have been subject to sanctions since July 2021, including 27 in 2021, 359 in 2022, 639 in 2023 and 789 in January-October 2024.

The types of sanctions imposed on them during this period were 93 people to disclose the list, 1,030 people to ban departure, and 691 people to suspend their driver's license.

The 39th Child Care Performance Deliberation Committee will be held in December this year.
