Park Sang-wook, senior presidential secretary for science and technology, said that there is no problem with the actual main contract regarding the recent controversy over the Czech nuclear power plant contract.Appearing on YTN today, Chief Minister

Bak said reports of Czech nuclear power plant contract pending were filed by eliminated rivals and were a procedural temporary phenomenon.

He added that during the president's trip to the Czech Republic, Czech citizens as well as the Czech government felt a strong will to form a high-tech alliance in all areas of science and technology beyond the nuclear power alliance with South Korea.

Earlier, rivals for Czech nuclear power plant orders, France Electric Power Corp and U.S. Westinghouse, challenged the bidding process, which the Czech anti-trust authority, which reviewed, decided to hold off on the contract until a final decision was made.
