Analysts say that even within the Israeli military command, there is an atmosphere of supporting the ceasefire.

"Israeli military leaders have accomplished everything they can militarily do in Lebanon and Gaza, and politicians are signaling in a subtle but stronger way that it is time to settle," CNN said.

According to CNN, Israeli military chief Halebi recently visited northern Gaza and hinted at the need to end the "military phase" in the Gaza-Lebanon conflict.

Israel's Defense Minister Yoav Galant was also quoted as saying to his Cabinet that he was skeptical about continuing the war.

"The current situation, with no valid compass and no renewed war targets, harms operational operations and cabinet decisions," Gallant wrote in a private note to Netanyahu and members of his cabinet this week, according to a report by Israel Channel 13.

Earlier, at a memorial service for the fallen in Jerusalem on the 27th, Defense Minister Galant said, "Military operations alone cannot achieve all the goals," adding, "We will have to make painful concessions to fulfill our moral obligation to bring our hostages home."

While some progress has been made regarding the ceasefire negotiations, the prevailing view is that the final deal is ultimately up to Netanyahu's change of position.

"Absolute victory is an orderly and consistent plan that we are implementing step by step," Netanyahu, who has shown a hardline one-sided attitude, reiterated in a speech to the Knesset (Parliament) this week.

Regarding negotiations for a ceasefire in Gaza, Netanyahu is also rejecting a larger agreement for an end to the war, which has moved on from a limited ceasefire for the release of hostages, a source told CNN.
