South Korea, the North Atlantic Treaty Organization, and NATO held the 'First High-Level Cyber Dialogue' and discussed strengthening cyber cooperation.

At the meeting held in Brussels, Belgium on the 8th local time, the two sides agreed to strengthen cyber cooperation to counter malicious cyber activities, recognizing that international peace and security are seriously threatened by the North Korean military's dispatch to Russia.

It also shared trends in cyber threats in the Indo-Pacific region and the Euro-Atlantic region and policies to respond to changes in the cybersecurity environment.

In particular, we agreed that international cyber training is useful in terms of enhancing cyber crisis response capabilities, and we decided to actively participate in training led by the other side in the future.

At the same time, we decided to cooperate in the preparation process so that the 'Cyber Champions Summit' event to be held in Korea next year will serve as an opportunity to strengthen cooperation between the two sides to respond to cyber crises.
