A victim who was sexually assaulted by her boss at the National Defense Research Institute's disciplinary committee jumped out of the window and was seriously injured when she felt insulted by the disciplinary committee member.

According to the JTBC 'Case Team Leader' report, the victim was on a business trip with a 12-year-old married man perpetrator who was a fellow employee of the Defense Research Institute and was involved in the incident.

At that time, B broke into the victim's lodging and tried to rape her, saying, "Let's just sleep together since this is the case," and fortunately, the perpetrator's crime was only attempted after the victim stubbornly refused.

Afterwards, the victim reported it to the grievance committee of the National Defense Research Institute, and the committee decided to impose light disciplinary action on the perpetrator based on the victim's statement transcript and on-site CCTV.

However, the disciplinary committee members of the National Defense Research Institute later blamed the victim for the sexual violence case, saying, "Isn't this confusion or delusion because of taking psychiatric drugs?" (The perpetrator and the victim) are special. The victim claimed that he made remarks such as "You are wrong."

When the victim complained and shed tears, the disciplinary committee member left the victim, saying, "It interferes with the investigation."

Eventually, the victim left, saying, "If the organization doesn't protect me, I won't protect me either," and he jumped 5 meters down through the window from the room next to the conference room because he couldn't overcome the pain.

The victim is said to have suffered serious injuries such as fractured vertebrae, pelvis, wrists, and ankles.

The victim said, "The handling of the case was slow enough to hold a disciplinary committee only three months after the incident, and the disciplinary committee member even insulted the victim."

The National Defense Research Institute said, "We cannot tell you the details of the incident, such as whether the disciplinary committee has spoken," and added, "We will cooperate well with the investigation."
