A sign hanging from a shopping mall as if it was about to fall... "presumed to be due to strong winds."

At around 11:50 a.m. yesterday (26th), a report was received in Janghang-dong, Goyang-si, Gyeonggi-do, that a sign attached to the outer wall of the third floor of a commercial building was likely to fall down, tilting.

Ilsan Fire Station in Gyeonggi Province, which has taken safety measures, said it controlled the neighborhood to prevent damage to citizens during the one-and-a-half-hour signboard fixing operation.

The fire department explained that the parts that hold the sign and the outer wall appear to have fallen due to strong winds.

From 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. yesterday (26th), trees collapsed, blocked roads, and a tent blown by the wind got caught in a window, and 48 cases of strong winds were reported in Gyeonggi Province and two people were injured.
