At around 6:50 a.m. today (1st), an electric train passing between Geumcheon-gu Office Station and Seoksu Station on Seoul Subway Line 1 collided with a car that violated the track.Two people, including a man in his 50s and a passenger, who drove a car in an accident called

were injured and taken to the hospital.

None of the 300 passengers on the train were injured.

The accident train, which had been stopped for a while, moved backward to Geumcheon-gu Office Station, and passengers on the train had trouble transferring to another train about 50 minutes later at 7:35 a.m.

In addition, eight high-speed trains, nine regular trains, and 20 electric trains were delayed by 10 to 40 minutes as one downstream track was controlled to deal with the accident.

Police said they confirmed it was not drunk driving, and are investigating the exact circumstances based on the driver's statement that the brake broke in the previous traffic accident and the vehicle rushed through the wall.
