Hamas, a Palestinian militant group that is at war with Israel, says 33 hostages have been killed so far since the start of the war in October last year.

Hamas claimed in a video posted to X early this morning that they died as Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu, a war criminal, stubbornly continued to invade.

The video listed the date and events of the hostage's death, mostly in Israeli airstrikes, but in some cases it was caused by the failure of military rescue operations, Qatar's news channel Al Jazeera reported.

Hamas has warned Israel to do what it needs to do before it is too late, saying it will lose its hostages forever if the war continues.

Hamas raided Israel on October 7 last year and kidnapped more than 250 hostages, with 100 released last year and around 60 survivors, Israel estimates.
