Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz said he would take military control of Gaza after the war.
The Times of Israel reported that after defeating Hamas' armed and administrative organizations, Israel will be in charge of security in Gaza with complete freedom of action.
Katz said he would not tolerate any terrorist activity in Gaza that threatened the Israeli community and its citizens, adding that a return to pre-war conditions was unacceptable.
