A day after the Jeju Air flight disaster, the Constitutional Court will hold a meeting of judges to discuss countermeasures against the impeachment trial of President Yoon Suk Yeol.

Constitutional Judge Kim Hyung-doo told reporters on his way to work today (30th) that a meeting of judges will be held at 2 p.m. today.

Regarding the plane disaster, I expressed my condolences to the bereaved family, saying that I feel very sad as a person of the people.

However, he explained that the occurrence of the disaster is unlikely to affect the schedule of President Yoon's impeachment trial.

As for when to request the investigation records needed for the impeachment trial, he said it is a matter for life judges to decide, but he said he will do it quickly.

He declined to say how he would deal with the six-member system and the trial of a power dispute over the impeachment of Prime Minister Han Deok-soo.
