The Ministry of Health and Welfare said it will expand the support for fertility testing, which was only for pregnant couples, so that anyone between the ages of 20 and 49 can receive it from next year.
The once-in-a-lifetime support for inspection expenses will also increase to a total of three times, once every cycle of 29 years old, 30-34 years old, and 35-39 years old.
In the meantime, 130,000 won for women (ovarian function test, gynecological ultrasound) and 50,000 won for men (static test) have been provided only once in their lives.
The expansion of support for fertility testing expenses was promoted as one of the measures to reverse the trend of low birth rate.
