Police Special Forces Demand Prime Minister Han Deok-soo for Second Attendance...Related to the martial law cabinet meeting

The National Investigation Headquarters Special Investigation Team, which investigates the emergency martial law situation, has notified Prime Minister Han Deok-soo of the summons again.

An official of the special police team said today (30th) that it sent a second request for attendance to Prime Minister Han on the 28th.

After a private investigation before Han took over as acting president on the 14th, the government launched a further investigation.

Prime Minister Han has been accused of rebellion and other charges regarding the progress of the Cabinet meeting before the declaration of emergency martial law on the 3rd, and Kim Yong-hyun, a lawyer for the former defense minister, claimed that Kim first reported martial law to Han before proposing it to the president.

In response, the Prime Minister's Office strongly denied that Prime Minister Han had been briefed on the martial law plan in advance, and a special team official explained that they will also investigate this part in the second investigation.
