The search for the victims' belongings and damaged bodies is still underway at the scene of the plane crash.

Among them, electronic devices such as mobile phones and tablet PCs will be forensically carried out with the consent of their families.

About 20 South Korean and U.S. joint investigation teams, including the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport and the U.S. National Transportation Safety Commission, are also continuing their work to identify the aircraft.

Two more Boeing officials have also been added.

The joint investigation team reportedly focused on various parts of the accident site and engine parts that are believed to have stopped operating.

The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport has set up an office in Muan Airport and is speeding up its investigation into the cause of the accident.

[Baek Won-guk / 2nd Vice Minister of Land, Infrastructure and Transport: There is a possibility of an extension (of the airport closure) as various procedures are underway.]

The police set up a dedicated investigation headquarters with 264 people immediately after the plane accident.

Apart from the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport's investigation, the investigation team is investigating the safety management and operation status of Jeju Air, Airport Corporation, and controllers.

In addition, we are also conducting an investigation to determine whether there is a talent or not.

[Na Won-oh / Investigation Director of Jeonnam Police Agency: We are focusing on the delivery and confirmation of the body. We are investigating who will be held legally responsible.

As soon as specific evidence such as statements and records of those involved is available, the police plan to convert it to a forced investigation by applying charges such as professional negligence or violation of the Serious Accident Punishment Act.
