On New Year's Day, at least 10 people, including two children, were killed in a shooting in a small town in Montenegro in southeastern Europe.
Montenegro police say a shooting occurred in a restaurant in the former capital of southern Chechnya on the afternoon of the 1st local time.
The suspect is a 45-year-old man who allegedly took a gun from his home and went on a rampage during a quarrel at a restaurant.
The suspect, who has a history of being detained for illegal possession of weapons in the past, fled while armed.
Police are sending special forces to track down the suspect.
The Montenegrin government declared a three-day period of national mourning.
