Tesla delivered 1.79 million vehicles last year...a year-on-year decline

U.S. electric vehicle maker Tesla's annual vehicle deliveries fell last year from a year earlier.

Tesla delivered more than 1.78 million electric vehicles in 2024, down about 19,000 from more than 1.88 million in 2023, according to a report released by Tesla.

In addition, the number of vehicles delivered in the fourth quarter of last year was 495,000, which was about 3,000 below the expert estimate.

Tesla shares, which rose 63% last year as a Trump beneficiary, fell around 3% in premarket trading on the announcement of vehicle deliveries last year.
