A man in his 20s who was checking the elevator got stuck and killed.

A 27-year-old man, A, who was checking the elevator at a clothing store building in Seongsu-dong, Seoul, got stuck in the facility at around 4:10 p.m. yesterday (3rd).

Mr. A, who suffered a serious head injury, was taken to the hospital, but he died in the end.

Mr. A reportedly had an accident when he heard that there was a noise in the elevator and started an inspection, but the weight fell.

Police are investigating the exact circumstances of the accident, including whether the elevator is defective.
