A 20-year-old man in his 20s who wielded a weapon and injured an unknown citizen on the trail for no reason was sentenced to 15 years in prison in the first trial.

The Suwon District Court sentenced 29-year-old A to prison, saying that the so-called "don't ask crime" causes great social anxiety, and that the murder crime cannot be tolerated even if it is attempted like this.

A was arrested and charged with stabbing a man in his 20s in the abdomen and assaulting the fallen victim several times on the evening of April 10 last year on the Tancheon trail in Yongin, Gyeonggi-do.

In the early morning of the crime, A was investigated by the police for another "don't ask assault" incident, and after his release, he bought a weapon and committed additional crimes on the trail.
