The Suwon District Court held the second trial date of the case against Park Soon-kwan, CEO of Arisel, and others on charges of violating the Serious Disaster Punishment Act.
The bereaved families who attended the trial took the opportunity to speak and told them to strictly punish CEO Park Soon-kwan and General Manager Park Joong-eon of Arisel.CEO
Park was arrested in June last year on charges of violating his obligation to secure safety and health in a fire at the Arisel plant that killed 23 workers and injured eight others.
Prosecutors believe Arisel, who has lost money every year, caused an accident by putting in unskilled and unskilled illegal dispatchers for sales without technology.
