Cho Eun-hee, a member of the National Assembly's Public Administration and Security Committee, told reporters today (9th) after a meeting with Woo Jong-soo, the head of the noodle division.
Cho said he heard from Director Woo that the Senior Civil Servant Corruption Investigations Unit and the National Defense Agency have never officially discussed the second warrant execution plan, and therefore, the timing and method of execution have not been set.
In addition, Director Woo replied, "We have never reviewed the mobilization of police commandos, armored vehicles, or helicopters reported in the media, and it is a story like a novel."
During the meeting, Woo reportedly strongly denied the "suspicious internal connection" that arose when Lee Sang-sik of the Democratic Party of Korea posted on social media, "It served as a messenger between the party and the National Assembly."
Representative Cho said that Director Woo checked not only himself but also all senior officers of the National Police Agency and said he had not contacted Representative Lee, and that he would try to restore trust by checking the facts to the extent possible.
