National pension benefits 2.3% this year ↑...Payment from this month

The Ministry of Health and Welfare announced that the first National Pension Review Committee in 2025 decided to raise the salary received by national pensioners by 2.3%.

As a result, 6.92 million recipients of the current national pension will receive the increased pension from this month.

Based on the old-age pension, the average monthly receipt was 654,471 won in September last year, but this year it will be raised to 669,523 won.

In addition, other public pensions, such as dependents' pensions, basic pensions, civil servants' pensions, and private school pensions, will rise at the same rate.
