While attention is being paid to the timing of the second arrest warrant execution, rallies for impeachment continue around the presidential residence despite the cold wave.

There's a reporter on the scene, reporter Lim Ye-jin!

The strongest cold wave hit this winter, so how is the situation at the rally in front of the official residence?

[Reporter]
Yes, the weather is so cold that white breath comes out and my whole body shrinks, but the pro-impeachment rallies continue.

There were not many people staying on the ground last night, but the crowd is increasing as the day comes.

As temperatures plummeted below minus 10 degrees Celsius, participants are wearing thick coats and silver foil blankets, drinking warm tea and holding out the cold.

On the road about 200 meters behind me, there is a rally stage for supporters of President Yoon against impeachment.

They are calling for "nullity of impeachment" and "elimination of fraudulent elections" and insisting that the arrest of President Yoon should be prevented.

On the contrary, some distance away, pro-impeachment groups are raising their voices, calling for the early execution of arrest warrants.

Concerns over physical conflict are also growing as confrontations continue day after day, with participants from both sides swearing at each other.

How about the border of the official residence?

[Reporter]
On the 3rd, when the first warrant was executed, the access around the official residence itself was completely controlled,

Even now, there are still police coverings everywhere, but the passage of citizens is much freer.

However, the security posture of the official residence remains tight.

The iron door installed in the entrance to the official residence is tightly closed except when vehicles enter and exit, and several large buses form a car wall behind the iron door, blocking the view.

Since the first attempt to execute the warrant, the security service has set up circular barbed wire fences throughout the precinct, and some doors are even chained to prepare for the re-execution of arrest warrants.

It is difficult to check the situation of the second and third cordon inside here, but it is expected that the security service will be more vigilant than before.
