"There was damage to civilian areas by Ukrainian drone strikes," the governor of Russia's Tambov province, Yevgeny Perbishov, said in a Telegram message on the 11th local time.
"Two houses in the village of Kotovsk, Tambov were partially destroyed by drone strikes, and three residents living in the building were injured by broken window debris," it said.
Local authorities have provided temporary residential facilities to residents of air raid-affected areas and temporarily suspended flights in areas of air raid concern.
Russia's Defense Ministry said it had shot down 85 drones sent by Ukrainian forces targeting its territory and occupied territories.
The Ukrainian side also said it had been attacked by Russian drones overnight.
"Russia has launched 74 drones since the previous night and shot down 47 of them," the Ukrainian Air Force said.
