A fire broke out in a hill in Gurye, Jeollanam-do, and forest authorities are extinguishing the fire.
The Korea Forest Service said it urgently deployed 10 extinguishing vehicles and about 30 extinguishing personnel after receiving a report of a fire in the middle of a hill in Gwangui-myeon, Gurye-gun, Jeollanam-do, last night (11th).
We are building a cordon and extinguishing the fire to prevent the fire from spreading to manpower because it is dark and we cannot deploy a forest fire extinguishing helicopter.
Forest authorities plan to investigate the cause and check the area of damage as soon as the forest fire is extinguished.
