A fire broke out at a hill in Gurye, Jeollanam-do, but it was extinguished in about 3 hours and 30 minutes.

The Korea Forest Service said it completed the extinguishing work by dispatching 10 extinguishing vehicles and 30 personnel after receiving a report of a fire in the middle of a hill in Gwangui-myeon, Gurye-gun, Jeollanam-do, at around 9:40 last night (11th).

It has been confirmed that it is difficult to deploy a forest fire extinguishing helicopter due to the dark weather, and that it has been difficult to extinguish fire or extinguish fire on the middle of the mountain without an access road.

As the forest fire extinguishing is completed, forest authorities plan to deploy a forest fire investigation and identification team to investigate the cause and check the exact area of damage and property damage.
