The warehouse building in Yongdu-dong, Seoul is on fire...a single-family house in Taebaek

In the middle of the night, a fire broke out in a six-story warehouse building in Yongdu-dong, Seoul, forcing nearby residents to flee to the shelter.

In Taebaek City, Gangwon-do, fire damage continued, including a fire in a single house.

At around 0:30 a.m. today (13th), a fire broke out in a six-story warehouse building in Yongdu-dong, Seoul.

[Witness: The fire continues to rise about seven stories high. There's a lot of smoke coming out of the building, so I can't even see the building....]

There was a nursing hospital near the building where the fire broke out, which almost led to a bigger fire, but the fire did not spread to the hospital building as the fire authorities stopped the fire from expanding its combustion.

However, some nearby residents moved to temporary shelters in the middle of the night due to concerns that the warehouse building could collapse.Dongdaemun-gu, Seoul, the district office under the jurisdiction of

, sent a text message to residents asking them to refrain from going out and to detour their vehicles because there is a lot of smoke and smell.

In Taebaek City, Gangwon Province, a single house caught fire.

Both residents were evacuated and no one was injured, but all the residential buildings and furniture were burned.

Fire authorities believe the fire started in a firewood boiler installed in the house.

The front and back of the car were crushed like paper, and the broken motorcycle collapsed.

At around 10 o'clock last night (12th), a car and a motorcycle collided head-on near Hwaam Intersection in Banghyeon-dong, Daejeon.

Both drivers were injured and taken to the hospital, where they were not said to be life-threatening.

Police believe the car crossed the center line and hit an oncoming motorcycle, and are investigating the exact circumstances of the accident.
