A week before the main vote for the 53rd President of the Korean Bar Association, candidates Ahn Byung-hee and Geum Tae-seop decided to unify themselves into Ahn Byung-hee.

Candidate Ahn Byung-hee and Geum Tae-seop announced today (13th) that they have decided to make a grand decision to prevent the privatization of the association by certain forces.

Ahn said he would like to thank candidate Geum Tae-seop for making a difficult decision for 30,000 lawyers across the country, and said he would win the election and make a replacement of the executive branch.

The main vote for the presidential election of the Korea Bar Association, the nation's largest lawyers' group, will take place on the 20th, and the unification will pit former Seoul Bar Association President Kim Jung-wook and Ahn Byung-hee, the first chairman of the Korea Future Bar Association.
