Rallies for impeachment have been ongoing for days even in the cold weather ahead of the execution of an arrest warrant for Yoon Suk Yeol's president.
Large-scale rallies continued, and the pros and cons clashed everywhere.
Right in front of the entrance to the official residence, citizens of both sides of the impeachment pushed.
There was a loud voice between them, and the situation was settled only after the police intervened.
"Don't say red! (Breaking the law!) Yoon Suk Yeol broke the law!"
Last weekend, a rally participant was arrested after wielding a weapon in the air while arguing with a participant who was different from him.
Amid fears of armed conflict during the execution of the warrant, some legal professionals were blocked by opponents as they tried to deliver a letter to Presidential Security Service employees to refuse to comply with orders to block the execution of arrest warrants.
[Cha Sung-an / Professor of University of Seoul Law School (former judge of Seoul Central District Court): Legal consultation. Please fill out and submit an explanation for rejection of unfair orders, and refuse the order to block the arrest warrant.]
{President Yoon's supporters voiced their opposition to the attempt to execute arrest warrants and said they would protect the president.
"You know how great our president is!"
Amid the prospect of imminent execution of an arrest warrant, tension is flowing in front of the official residence.
