Gyeongju City, North Gyeongsang Province, has started to check the facts against Daiso, a household goods store that has been controversial over its refusal to enter guide dogs for the visually impaired.

The video showed Heo being blocked from entering the guide dog by an employee at a household goods store while traveling in Gyeongju. As soon as the employee saw Heo and the guide dog, he refused to enter, saying, "We are not allowed to enter the guide dog due to safety concerns," and Heo said he bought the product in a hurry.

Article 40 of the Welfare of Persons with Disabilities Act stipulates that assistive dogs for persons with disabilities cannot be prohibited from entering public transportation and public places. Violation of this will result in a fine of 3 million won.
