Police have set up a dedicated team to investigate the riots in the Western District Court after Yoon Suk Yeol's arrest.

The Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency said today (19th) that it has formed a dedicated investigation team with the head of the investigation department of the Seoul Metropolitan Government as its team leader, and plans to thoroughly investigate and strictly deal with illegal activities in the Western District Court.

He also stressed that he will designate a team dedicated to the criminal task force to track down illegal actors to the end, such as analyzing evidence data.

The police have arrested a total of 86 people as current offenders from yesterday (18th) when the warrant review was held to today when President Yoon was arrested.

They were arrested by police on charges of assaulting police officers, threatening prosecutors of the Senior Civil Servant Corruption Investigations Unit, or breaking into the court and damaging various objects.
