Police internal opposition to Western District Court riots "take responsibility for command"

Many police officers were injured when supporters of President Yoon Suk Yeol illegally stormed the Seoul Western District Court, and complaints from police officers at the scene have erupted.

The Internet community, which allows users to write posts only by authenticating their current status as police officers, posted a number of reviews from police officers who went to the Western District Court yesterday (19th).

A, a mobile worker who was dispatched to the scene, wrote, "Even though my colleague was beaten, I could only say, 'Stop it,'" and "It was the first time in my life as a police officer."

"Why do you think of employees only as 'body buns?'" he said. "The command that sat on the sidelines should be held accountable even when police officers are assaulted like they are being ridiculed."

He said similar things will be repeated in the Seoul Detention Center and the Constitutional Court in the future, and raised his voice, saying, "We need to prepare and strongly suppress capsaicin and tridanbong."

Police officer B also emphasized, "The protesters did not prepare properly even though there were signs that something would be done, which further increased the damage."

Forty-two police officers were injured in protests near the Western District Court by President Yoon's supporters from the day before yesterday (19th), and seven of them were found to be seriously injured.
