From the 2028 College Scholastic Ability Test, which will be taken by the first year of high school this year, the number of questions and test hours in the fourth period will increase.

Currently, 20 questions per subject and 30 minutes test will be changed to 25 questions and 40 minutes per subject from the 28th grade, and the scores for each question will be divided into 1.5 points, 2 points, and 2.5 points.

Korean, mathematics, English, and Korean history will remain the same in both the number of questions and the test time, and in the case of the second foreign language and Korean language area, the number of questions will be reduced to 20 and the solution time will be shortened to 30 minutes.

In particular, applicants for social and scientific exploration have to take both subjects, so the entire SAT exam ends 20 minutes late based on general test takers in the fifth period.

As the Ministry of Education introduced the integrated SAT, which abolished elective courses in the areas of Korean language, mathematics, and exploration from the 28th grade, the form of questions, test hours, and grade notices was changed and confirmed.
