Middle school students who fled were handed over to the prosecution when they were found to have robbed unmanned store devices with a hammer.

The Daejeon Jungbu Police Station said on the 20th that it sent A (15) without detention on charges of attempted special theft and property damage, and also sent two people, including B (15) on charges of attempted special theft.

A and others are accused of running away at around 0:53 on the 9th of last month after attempting to break the lock of the device with a hammer that was pre-packed at an unmanned ice cream shop in Taepyeong-dong, Jung-gu, Daejeon.

Their theft was discovered by an owner who was watching the store on CCTV. Mr. A played the role of stealing, and the other two, including Ms. B, watched around the store.

When the owner warned through the speaker, the surprised ran away, and the owner immediately reported it to the police.

During the search, the police found A, who was the same as the picture of the description said by the owner, and chased and arrested A, who was running dangerously over the eight lanes of the road.

They were found to have thoroughly planned in advance, such as purchasing the hammer used in the crime the day before. The police investigation stated, "It was because I needed money."

A police official said, "Even if you are a minor, you will be punished according to the law and arrested for violent crimes, so never follow along."
