Seo Geoseok, North Jeolla Province Superintendent of Education, will hold an appeal trial this afternoon.

The appellate trial of Seo Geo-seok, the superintendent of the Jeonbuk Special Self-Governing Province Superintendent of Education, which was handed over to trial for promulgating false information during the superintendent's election process, will be held at the Jeonju District Court at 2 p.m. today.

Superintendent Seo Geoseok was indicted on charges of falsely answering the other candidate's question about whether he assaulted Professor Lee Gwi-jae while serving as president of Chonbuk National University in the 2022 election debate for the Jeonbuk Superintendent of Education.Superintendent of Education

Seo was acquitted by the testimony of Professor Lee, the victim of the assault, in the first trial, but he is facing an appeals court today on the appeal of the prosecution, which secured false testimony.
