◆ Park Gui-bin: I understand that we have previously pushed for a discount coupon support project for agricultural and fishery products in Gyeonggi-do. What was the performance like in the past? Has the price burden been reduced for actual consumers?

◇ Bae So-young: Last year, the project was not carried out due to financial conditions of the province, and the project was carried out by setting aside 25 billion won as an extra budget in 2023. It sold 117.7 billion won in agricultural and fishery products from Gyeonggi Province in 2023, and according to data from the National Statistical Office, the annual inflation rate for agricultural, livestock and fisheries products in Gyeonggi Province was 2.3%, lower than the national average of 3.1%, the lowest inflation rate among 17 metropolitan cities and provinces nationwide, indicating that the Gyeonggi-do agricultural and fishery discount coupon support project will greatly help lower consumer inflation.

◇ Bae So-young: This year, we have set aside 25 billion won in the main budget to promote the Gyeonggi-do agricultural and fishery discount coupon support project, and we plan to support consumers to purchase agricultural and fishery products from Gyeonggi-do with a 30% discount online and offline.
