The high-ranking government official's crime investigation office visited the Seoul Detention Center today and attempted to investigate the president of Yoon Suk Yeol once again, but the investigation failed again this time.

The Senior Civil Servant Corruption Investigations Unit said in a press corps notice that the investigation was not conducted as President Yoon returned to the detention center after 9 p.m. after treatment at an external medical facility.

He added that he will discuss the schedule, including future investigations, again and make a decision.

Earlier, it was found that the Senior Civil Servant Corruption Investigations Unit was planning to try to force President Yoon, who returned from the Seoul Detention Center after the Constitutional Court's impeachment hearing, and to conduct a visit investigation in the detention center if it was difficult.

To this end, it has been confirmed that related procedures have also been carried out, such as sending an official letter to the Seoul Detention Center to cooperate with the investigation room.

However, as President Yoon returned after 9 p.m. after receiving medical treatment at the Armed Forces District Hospital, the late-night investigation itself became impossible due to human rights protection regulations.
